Went to my first of two #fabtcg RTN events for this weekend in my home town
I took Verdance after having to pivot from Florian with less than a week to prep
I ended up in 10th place, coming really close on a 4-2 record. Just missing out on top 8 due to breakers
I'm pretty happy results wise 😅

The Verdance MU is one of the most interesting to play because you both present 2 win conditions (tempo + fatigue for you, tempo + combo for her) and you both have to dance between them to win the game depending on the game state.

Don't get me wrong. It's not as good as felling. Before she got Burn Bare and then LutL, Verdance basically existed as "deck that gets to play felling". Hell, frankly, even afterwards that's basically all she is.

Felling U do the thing multiple times consistently, plus Plow messing uninteractively with arsenal, ruining any setup that you'd need to beat Florian & Verdance that put you on a hard clock (unlike Jarl most of the times).

took down my very first rtn of the season on kassai. won a top cut rematch against a verdance i lost to in swiss, won the mirror, good games. kinda surreal to win back to back gfs after returning to the game properly. still got it. 😤😤😤
