I wish I had more access to people willing to play FaB with me on the weekends (in person not Talishar) because SAGE has been fun and all but I'd like to weave some CC in there too.
And when I only get 30-45 mins 4 days a week its not very helpful if I wanna play multiple different formats.

I feel like people just like to be upset online. Complaining about $2000 CC decks is one thing but now $20 silver age decks that come with a bonus pack are too expensive? Come. on.

Cards still cost money to print not to mention packaging, shipping, dev time and marketing.

Hearing the LSS devs talk about how valuable the newer devs strong gameplay skills are kinda makes me lose a bit of hope of ever being a TCG developer...
I can design well I think.
But I'm not a very good player. Sure I've 3-0d an armory once but that's a drop in the water.

Getting a job in the TCG industry felt improbable before but it's now starting to feel impossible.

I turn 34 very soon.

It took my 23 years to figure out who I was, and another 8 years after that to recognize what I wanted to do with my life.
(In hindsight both of shoulda been obvious lol)

Played my first games of SAGE today with my friend.
I was on my Sloggy Scurv list, he was playing Enigma.

It was... Oppressive.
I took no damage across two games.

i don't feel like magic set surveys usually have this question and i don't appreciate the implication that content creators, who do so so much for the game, are possibly to blame for a bad set's poor performance. 👎

I'm so conscious of exactly what and how much I say at any given time because anything that could be perceived as being "too friendly" could be offensive to the other person under the impression that I barely know them why am I being so friendly?
