I was planning to go to the big (cheap) Asian grocery but it's 11F feels like -6F rn and sometimes the cheapest way to pay is with money and not with freezing my ass off on the outdoor train platform so I am gonna go coffee > library > fancy groceries instead

M got an Alexa when they first came out and then sometime during trump 1 he went on a rant and I was like uh that thing is listening to you and he immediately ripped the plug out of the wall and never used it again

We have an Echo and smart switches/plugs around the house. Every night I ask it to turn all the lights off when I go to bed. Tonight I asked 3 times, some lights stayed on. “I tried to turn all the lights off” it said in a new AI enhanced voice. And that’s how I learned Alexa Plus was deployed

a screen tone panel of my comic Stay - This panel shows a young Reece sitting in a car, he's so small his feet don't even go to the edge of the seat, he's hugging a backpack. Despite being a little kid he still has his usual serious and un-smiling face. He's saying "Ok" to his mom that is in the driver seat that is off screen. Of course I was going to include little kid Reece as my fave!! He soooo cute, but still so serious. He's 100% a mama's boy and he's not ashamed to admit it. I did omit some dialogue in the original panel. Full page from my comic Stay, it shows Vince grabbing Ever, who has a bloody nose and tears in his eyes, in a princess carry, he seems to be in a hurry yelling, "Everyone finish up on your own! Don't forget to turn in your papers!" Then an up close panel of Ever's reaction to the public princess carry, thinking, "Oh my god! Is this really happening??" He's blushing like crazy and even has swirly eyes to indicate the dizzying emotions he's feeling. Yes! Princess carry page! Of course this is a fave! Ever finally got Vince's attention and now he's immediately overwhelmed! Silly boy doesn't know what he wants! screen tone panels of my comic Stay - Panel 1 shows an angry Ever yelling at a bewildered Vince saying "Kiss me for real!", Next panel is Vince's shocked reaction exclaiming, "W-What?!" as his heart also pounds "Ba-bump" at the "demand." Ahhh love this scene - Ever is not fooled by Vince's explanation, so he blurts this out! Once again Ever does not think before he reacts lol. But also I like the role reversal happening. Full comic page of my comic Stay - Shows a panel of Vince grabbing Ever's butt. Next panels are Ever blushing in reaction to the grab, and Vince also reacting shocked to what he did, thinking "Uh oh" - and the last panel Vince has lifted Ever up. Ever wraps his legs around Vince, we see a bandage on his ankle, he also buries his face in Vince's shoulder blushing. Vince still in shock just thinks "This isn't good" I just love this page! We see both Vince and Ever reacting without thinking. Also I just really like Vince holding Ever! He's so small!

In the first page of the comic, we’re set within the imaginary house of one of my friends for a Halloween party. There’s five people currently inside celebrating. In the front near the left bottom side of the image is Emily and her partner Kamilah, chatting. Behind them stands the owner of this house, Max, talking with Fayth. On the right by himself is Josh. Everyone save for Josh is dressed up in costumes, with Fayth being dressed as Rosalina, Max in a dinosaur onesie, and both Emily and Kamilah dressed as a cat and dog respectively. The front door slowly freaks open, as if trying to not draw attention. Fayth and Max don’t notice the door; either Fayth wondering where Kirby is and Max suggesting they were picking up Cajmere and got stuck in traffic. Josh however notices the door ajar, and walks towards it off scene. In page two, Kirby Gomes through the front door humming and wiping off some red substance from their mouth. Josh scares them accidentally though saying “Good morning! Welcome to the party.” Whilst flipping Kirby the bird. Kirby whispers back “A warning next time Josh…” to which she apologizes and questions them on not being in a costume since they had stated they were working on a costume months in advance. In page three, Kirby stands still as they buffer; wondering what Josh meant about the costume. They then realize that the party got moved up onto actually being on Halloween as opposed to the week after the group agreed upon initially. “I came totally unprepared! Looks like I won’t need that fake blood for another week.” She cries. He then adds “At least I’m not the only one dressed in normal clothes.”. In the background, Cajmere finally appears. His face is a bit pale and he seems to be a bit lightheaded; suggesting from the blood on Kirby’s lips that it drank his blood. In page four the original cast from the first page stands in shock and slight fear. Emily drops their drink onto the floor, spilling it everywhere. A few people have their own responses to Kirby’s information. “Oh so that IS real blood, ok-“ Josh blurs out. “So you’re telling us that NOT fake blood?” questions Max. “Uh…I think we all have a few questions” adds Kamilah, staring in worry.
