I wonder if all stars are like this, or if you're an anomaly.” Frame 2: “We could ask my Cousin Sol,” Star Boy suggests. “Uh, who?” Dwyn asks. “Cousin Sol,” Star Boy explains. “Your sun. He's the closest star to us.” Frame 3: “Are you telling me that you're related to the sun?” Dwyn asks. “Well, no, not really,” Star Boy says, turning from the computer to face Dwyn. “It's more like stars consider ourselves to be distantly related because we were all birthed by the same universe.” “And stars can talk to each other?” Dwyn asks. “Of course we can talk!” Star Boy says. Frame 3: “Okay, fair point, but I meant the people,” says the first person. “No, no, you've got it all wrong,” replies the second person. “We aren't actually white. The artist is very aware of the issue, but lacks the skill and confidence to accurately represent the spectrum that is humanity. So, instead, we're translucent.” “Wait... what?” asks the first person. “We're translucent, so we're whatever colour the primary background is,” the second person explains. “That usually happens to be white.
