Neither is not taxing billionaires.

Yeah that scratches most of the itch.

There's also a transparency angle. We know which company we're doing business with, and we know which governments are taxing us. Ideally we have levers to pull if those aren't voluntary.

Democrats are all about affordability right now but we haven't heard anything about it lately. You want affordability? Go after the low hanging fruit like taxing the shit out of the rich. Not just billionaires.

The National Firearms Act was the beginning of federal gun control in the US, and since it came before the all-powerful commerce clause, it implemented gun control by taxing gun sales and transfers

So someone in violation was committing tax evasion

Taking care of loved ones at home with limited help is taxing physically, mentally, financially and emotionally. Having done this, it meant so much to know that someone saw those of us invisible to many. It meant a lot to us caregivers…. not to mention the help she was planning for homebuyers.

When it's all too much, I've found dancing to whatever nonsense I vibe to is medicine to the soul.

Times are hard, it's terrifying & mentally taxing to live in fascism.

Take time to care for yourself too as we care & protect each other.

Feels like Google would have gotten here, easily, if it had 10% of the competition that OpenAI attracted with ChatGPT.

In retrospect, it's obvious how much Google sucked in comparison to what was possible.

It's good that Google's decades of stagnation and taxing the internet are coming to an end.
thank u mr claude for searching 500 forum posts in 7 minutes to identify the exact issue with the specific wifi chip in my specific motherboard that causes it to keep dying randomly

Definitely. Especially for the poor students who have to pay tuition fees as well in England and Wales. Maybe consider taxing the rich or rich corporations to pay for it. Tesco, water companies etc..
I don't know about you, but if they are so obviously prepared to write off the billions in Covid fraud, I'd rather they wrote off all Student Loan debts so at least we are giving our young a fair break.?

Hate-laced, nonsense cruelty must be so taxing, I imagine.

The latest departure comes as ICE continues to draw the ire of judges for failing to comply with court orders.

A Bezos-backed editorial board says taxing the rich won’t work.

We checked the history, did the math, and sure enough they're wrong.

Read this week's Closer Look to learn how the WaPo editorial board consistently misses the mark. patrioticmillionaires.org/perspectives...

No, it’s not.

Taxing the richest people so they pay their fair share doesn’t equal austerity. What the Tories did was austerity, Labour are investing £100bn+ in public services, again, not austerity.

There are still limits on fiat currencies, we can’t just print endless money.
February 8, 2026 at 12:10 AM
what not to do, over complicate tax in order to avoid taxing billionaires because you think GDP total is more important than GDP distribution.

I’m sorry, WaPo (and by WaPo, I mean Jeff Bezos) but you have zero credibility on the subject of taxing the rich.

Wonderful article, must-read.

Okay. Are you gonna try RPGs or do they feel to long and drag on sometimes (like grinding) for the sake of streaming? They can be taxing sometimes.

Another thing

❌AUKUS subs
❌taxing the 1/3 of corporations that don’t pay tax
❌taxing resources fairly
❌reversing negative gearing

Democrats had better commit to TAXING THE FUCKING RICH to make life better for us or THEY ARE OUT!!!!

Tax cuts for giant corporations and the super rich.

Paid for by cuts to the social safety net for everyone else.

Trickle-up economics.

God that's a really really good view. Would love to see that at the end of a taxing hunt. Just massaging those hefty orbs and stuffing him repeatedly ~
