Since the Eastern philosophers do not view Siddartha, Lao Tsu, and Confucius as gods, and instead view them as human philosophers, they can fit in with Atheists, and Atheists would even recognize them as their own.

But many ppl wanted Lao Tsu to be their god, so they made their own religion decades after Lao Tsu’s passing and so he became known as a god in their own religion. The same is true for Confucius and Siddartha (Buddha’s real name.)

When ppl refer to Buddha as Siddartha, u can bet your ass that those ppl r Atheist. Because they’re not referring to Buddha from the mythological legends, they’re referring to the REAL Buddha. Buddha was not a god, he was a real person.

Siddartha is the Buddha’s real name btw. So when I am talking about Siddartha, I am talking about Buddha, THE BUDDHA. Since Buddha hood is the goal for ALL Buddhists, Siddartha was considered as THE Buddha ONLY because he was the first Buddhist.

Because u were born on a certain date? But how do we know that the stars even have an effect on our personalities? You know when Siddartha (Buddha’s real name) reached a very old age in his life, he realized that Mara doesn’t literally exists and that Mara is just a metaphor for the ego.
