"Superstitious" Trump says higher aspirin dosage behind hand bruises
He's defied doctors' calls to lower the dosage because he wants "nice, thin blood pouring through my heart," Trump told the WSJ.

It's remarkable how squeezingly joyless the politics of sensibly triangulating, of making *hard decisions* which perpetuate the impossibility of change, of conceding to the forces of reaction, of accepting that to be serious means being disliked, grey, uninspiring, and still losing on all fronts.

Something so many have had to face in the last 24 hours. 🤣

The idea that the mind can exist "beyond the brain" is not new, and it has been proposed and defended by countless philosophers.

We have, however, stopped considering it a serious idea because it seems to be incompatible with everything we have learned about the brain, through neuroscience.

I HAVE BEEN SUMMONED ;;;;

(Thank you for the tag @coldwavezombie.bsky.social 💙 )

A lot of what I want to get started this year is MORE of Aiko with his main story ;;; I've done so much "fan service" but now I wanna get serious with Aiko and his story ;;;

As someone well-versed in practical astrology, Mia tends to takes fortunes seriously to a point. Like, on a scale of 1-10 she's at like a 6; she'll take heed but won't run her life by it

MMolkot is uncharacteristically VERY serious about them and prefers not to know, so they don't even draw LOL

Serious question: how much about the Shadow is from the radio show, and how much is original to the 1994 movie?
Happy Public Domain Day to Nancy Drew, Golden Bat and The Shadow!

The original plan was for Stranger Things to be an anthology serious, with each season telling an unrelated story. This seems like a backdoor way of doing an anthology series, even if it's technically connected (in the same way that all Stephen King's stories take place in the same universe)

(Serious answer here is that the lawsuit is probably to obtain injunctive relief re: allowing him to take certain specific actions to remove the bear or to force the CA state government to take certain actions).

It's such an awesome thing, life's too short to be serious all the time.

We have a SERIOUS education problem here is the US -- we don't teach lessons about HOW GOVERNMENT WORKS.

I'd ask y'all for your indulgence while we try to remedy the issue, but it'll take too long to fix it, so...

CARRY ON. PRAY FOR US.

These two (Cleo, left; Booger, right) do not understand physics, in particular, that there isn't room for both in my lap. One common tactic is just to ignore me saying no and climbing on, sitting on the other, and knocking them off. Gets a little feisty sometimes.

It flips between love bites and panicked biting... Nothing malicious in them, because he goes right back to purring afterwards, but if I wasn't wearing gloves those love bites WOULD go down to the bone.

This cat has SERIOUS love bites.

Authors are a couple who have taken a deep but amusing look at the issue of colonizing Mars, and for that matter the moon or space station. They think in the end we will go to Mars, but if we are being serious about thinking this through, it's more like a 500-year project.

I hear you. I purchased my consignment Louboutin’s right after my Dad died when I had been his main hospice caregiver for a couple of months. A eee bit of alcohol may also have been involved in my purchase. [nodding my head slowly and trying to appear serious and wise]
