He could’ve been in Afghanistan. I have a 2nd grader and I was in Afghanistan ‘09-10 and ‘12-13. Or, if he’s SASR, he could’ve been in Kurdistan in 2014. Hell, if he’s SASR he could’ve been doing all kinds of war crimes that haven’t been declassified yet!

in Stokes case it's because he genuinely cares about the SASR (the Aussie SAS) and became personally close to BSR - including giving him a $700,000 job he was bad at. With the others it was because they saw it as being a patriotic figure under attack, how dare you criticize our boys, etc.
