#tavqotd Piercings!

Vivian woke up on the nautiloid with a pair of skull earrings, she had no memory of their meaning but once she arrived in Rivington and learned of her bhaalspawn heritage she finally understood their significance.

She stopped wearing them at some point during act 3.

Armor of Persistence and Armor of Agility are some of my favorites. Those are in the city proper, though. In Rivington, go shopping with the chipper Dragonborn lady and the shady dude across from the barn, but don't approach him with Shadowheart if you want to shop with him first.

First beer 2026. What a beer to start with. From Rivington, a New England Pale called Never Known Fog Like It. Gave it 4.25. It's lovely, hoppy, and murky. So balanced, and the fruity bosh is creamy. Bought it from Utobeer Borough Market. Lush #bskybeer

10 JANUARY 1776, NEW YORK: The Tory printer James Rivington and his family sail for England aboard the Sansom. Though it’s customary for departing passengers’ names to be published in the newspapers, the Rivingtons are ignored by all publications.

Astra and Lae’zel know how to make Rivington more interesting…

Tavara is from Baldur's Gate. She was born in Rivington, but in a house on the very far edge. She lived there until she was 6. Then, she spent the next 16ish years underground in Bhaal's temple and roaming the streets of the city.

#tavqotd Share some headcannons about your #Tav or #durge's parents or family members!

Judith and Timothy are Eliza's adopted parents. When they met, Judith was playing her violin in Rivington when Timothy had returned from a job. It was love at first sight for them both.

Good local birding today. Jack Snipe, Green Sandpiper, Willow Tit and Peregrine at Cutacre, and then lucky to be close by when @birderkat.bsky.social put news out about her Great Northern Diver find at Lower Rivington Res. Goosander flyby as the sun set. #ukbirding #birds #BirdsSeenIn2026

Creamy pour with tight head
Flavours: mango pineapple peach grapefruit all swirl round on a light honey malt base.

Even though I only work up the road from it, went to Rivington for the first time today and evidently wandered into a Dryrobe convention. Lovely spot but the Twats per Square Kilometre ratio will have been record breaking. And that's just the kids.

Some excellent dogs though.

Didn’t brave the Lakes and another Wainwright today in case the temperature put my youngest off for life, but we did manage Rivington Pike.

If I happen to spot a cock-up on signs I *will* document it, even if you fix it...

As you’d expect from the 2 breweries involved, this one does exactly what it says on the tin…

Bright Yellow & Really Good.
6.5% collaboration IPA from Verdant & Rivington.
A beauty to begin 2026 with.

Cheers! 🍻

The one song and its lyrics that best describe Irennan: All That I Am by (I'm not kidding here) Rob Thomas. It is a hauntingly beautiful song, and it speaks (to me at least) of Irennan's self-sacrificial nature and his relationship with Gale... and Eilistraee.
