Weirdos
Man Utd’s record against teams in the top half of the table this season:

5W 2D 1L (2.13 points per game)

Record against teams in the bottom half of the table:

1W 2D 3L (0.83 points per game)

I’ve tried so hard to fight this but it’s becoming very, very difficult. Simply needs to be a lot better than this.
1-0 up at home against 18th in the table and you’re taking off your striker for a (rubbish, sorry) defensive midfielder with 15 to go, promptly concede, then use your last change to swap one centre-back for another. Boring, negative, gutless - absolutely not a United manager

There’s a huge chance to break back into the top four this year, but United keep blowing it. I get the thing about giving him time but they can’t keep blowing this. Their attitude to going a goal up was just weird. Where was the urgency to get a second?

United fans might accept a talent like Kobbie Mainoo sitting on the bench if the system he supposedly doesn’t fit into showed any real promise. But tonight was abysmal. Letting it drift like that made the equaliser inevitable. I’m all for patience, but it should be better by now.

Wan bissaka should have received a second yellow card there. Absolutely abysmal refereeing all night.

United should’ve had a free kick for a clear push right before the corner, but they absolutely deserve this. Get ahead and just let it drift. It’s so poor

Shaw on Bowen exactly the same as the contact on Mbeumo seconds earlier. Referee gives that one. West Ham, like Everton last week, picking up lots of soft free kicks

I just wish United could manage more than 10 minutes of sustained attacking football at home against an average side. They always play at a tempo which invites the other team in.

Fair play. Didn’t see that coming at halftime. Suspect tiredness may have played a part with Palace but United much more aggressive second half. Chuffed for Zirkzee too. Big goal after looking lost in the first half.

It’s a good point, this. Why did it need changing?
That is the most ludicrous law I’ve seen. He literally missed the penalty because he took two touches to score it. Can players have another attempt at free kicks if they touch it twice now, too?
November 30, 2025 at 12:43 PM
Very on brand that United have a double touch penalty score against them in the era where it’s just a retake, not a disallowed goal
November 30, 2025 at 12:39 PM
No idea why Yoro’s even attempting that tackle
November 30, 2025 at 12:33 PM
Sun in United’s defenders’ eyes seems like it isn’t helping. Absolutely nailed on it clouds over at halftime

Zirkzee struggling so far. It showed last season that he wasn’t a number 9 but this is another reminder. Nothing sticking to him. Can’t run in behind. Hope it changes but struggling to see how it does.

Everton conceding in the first minute after Monday night is the most Everton thing in the history of Manchester United

Have I just not had my head in here as much or has talk of City’s 115 + however many charges just calmed right down now? Laughable it’s gone on this long. Maybe the plan is to drag it out long enough so everyone who remembers it dies of old age and it can be forgotten

⚽ On the ball - 27/11/2025

I guessed the player in 1 guess
Score: 35
Top 27% of players today

I’ll take that. Thought I’d be a lot further down than that.

Superb from Everton. Totally deserved. Huge backwards step for United. Toothless, unimaginative display. Never looked like scoring.
November 24, 2025 at 9:54 PM
Very concerning from United. They’ve looked totally clueless since the red. Everton don’t even seemed to have been worked
November 24, 2025 at 8:49 PM
United deserve that. Feel like they’ve needed to go behind to wake up a bit.
November 24, 2025 at 8:31 PM
That’s a ridiculous call from the ref. Could’ve been dealt with far better. Didn’t seem that bad at all
November 24, 2025 at 8:17 PM
Imagine being one of those people who, knowing that football exists, says they prefer sports like tennis instead. Absolute losers.
November 18, 2025 at 9:52 PM
No idea how Gvardiol avoids a card there
November 9, 2025 at 5:50 PM
United should have killed it at 1-0 but didn’t deserve to lose. The circumstances around Spurs’ goal after Sesko went off were harsh. To come back and take a point with 10 men is another small sign of growing resilience.
