My office is chaotic piles of printing and prepping for convention season this year.
I'm determined to have a super full stockpile of all my existing stuff before Supanova in April, so I can focus on my new stuff for the rest of the year without scrambling to restock for each convention

Honestly we're ONLY a whistle network because that is why we spun up! But there are a lot of folks in here who want to do other things, so I suspect if someone else started a toolkit printing thing, some would join!

Why does the MSM bother printing anything Trump says? He’s always lying.

Y'all, we shipped ~45k whistles in December.

I think we shipped ~35k whistles TODAY.

This team of rogue 3D printing enthusiasts is... really rocking & rolling. 💓💃 And thank you to all of you who helped supply the filament & shipping $ so that could happen!

The thing to keep in mind, as I have for several years while similarly considering the efficacy of a federal tax strike, is that it's an accelerationist move. First, the federal government doesn't need your money and it doesn't pay for anything. They own printing presses.

I will definitely not be printing anything about killing on any of my whistles which are 100% for legal community protection, a thing I will repeat on the internet daily!

I was trying to figure out if I could fit "this machine annoys fascists" on a whistle but the test print failed -- the whistles most of us are printing are tiny. Could probably do it on a larger whistle, though...

If I print without pauses, and each 11"x17" print takes about 6 minutes, I'll be done in... 11.7 hours. Then I start printing the 8.5"x11" and 5"x7".

I have faith! That funny noise it's making just means it's happy, right?

I can kinda explain. Blender is still mainly a mesh modeler, and the Text and Curve tools haven't received attention in ages. I do motion graphics and 3D printing, and it's capable, but not made for them.

I'm sure there are addons that'll make this stuff more straightforward.

I tried out printing two sizes of whistles today, one of them is good for earring wearers, the other is good for wearing on a lanyard or putting on a keychain.

I'd like to end the week pointing attention at a few people who are doing things that make me not want to walk into the sea.

Some aspects of technology take decades or more to catch on, but humanity had NO TROUBLE seeing the benefit of printing. 😀

After the first books came out many migrated to foreign lands to set up printing presses, recognizing that the tech was going to be explosive, profitable, and here to stay.
