Leadership seems a bit of a stretch.
Just keeping the Coalition of numbats and cooker appeases pointed in the same direction seems beyond anyone.
Let alone leading them.

Meet the Numbat, Australia's only truly diurnal marsupial. This beautiful #SciArt is from John Gould's "Mammals of Australia" (1863): "with its beautiful tail spread out to the full extent, it offers a great resemblance to the Squirrels". doi.org/10.5962/p.31... #InternationalNumbatDay #ILoveBHL 🧪

The state government could prioritise a simple short amendment to the Cat Act to make cat containment possible in a matter of weeks. Or the Legislative Council could vote to support the Shire of Pingelly’s Save the Numbats local law (Nov 19).

Numbats are found all over but this one lives in the Dryandra Woodland National Park in southern Western Australia. (Supplied by Bill Smart)
Authorities are asking people to leave them alone because they can become stressed by all the attention, people stomping around in their habitat

Numbat. This small marsupial is known for its reddish coat, white stripes, and bushy tail. Unlike most marsupials, numbats are active by day, using their long sticky tongues to feast on thousands of termites daily🐜 Found in eucalyptus woodlands, they shelter in hollow logs and burrows for safety 🇦🇺

Numbats are about the size of a small cat, but can burrow into termite mounds larger than we are and lay waste like Godzilla.
