#neurodivergence
cPTSD officially acknowledged & displacing the diagnosis of BPD. BPD is undiagnosed cPTSD along with neurodivergence in a toxic environment.
In my humble opinion. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Project management system for neurodivergence

I've seen some hardcore narcissists act/behave like this before, but it was only lying in a corner getting the shit absolutely beaten out of them for once and realizing that they had severely fucked up. I suspect Trump's neurodivergence is similar.

Ahh, gotcha.

I think my depression and particular forms of neurodivergence combine in such a way so as to make every aspect of Buddhist teaching (that I have tried) torment for me to try to practice.

I did see that! And I am begging those people to just accept their own neurodivergence without being extra weird about it.

The neurodivergence was right there 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭but no one noticed.

Later on, I started thinking it may be a reduced expression of neurodivergence, because there are other members of my family who had the same struggles. It's not dyslexia but it may be something. I don't have it to the same degree and that might be how it was missed. There could be no correlation.

I didn't receive services for anything because half my family doesn't think mental illness or neurodivergence is real (& if it is it's a punishment from God). I wasn't allowed to have a therapist until I turned 18 lmao.

We are the early warning system. Our brains act as a moral alarm that sounds in a world that often prefers the comfort of denial. For many of us, neurodivergence isn't just a different way of thinking, it’s a refusal to ignore the patterns of oppression others choose to overlook. 3/3

when the neurodivergence got you feeling 26 anyway

(It's John Stuart Mill's model of Reciprocal Superiority in Marriage, but with added neurodivergence.)

I miss my new friends at what (on here) I am going to call The Hangout. It's basically a place in my community available for people with all kinds of neurodivergence to hang out. Fucking snow.

Anyone else out here come to the conclusion that, after controlling for neurodivergence, the "moral failing" variable is still significant in your "why am I not as effective in my job as I want to be?" model?

So this may be my neurodivergence but how I answer depends on how you define love! I think the love is plentiful. People actually recognizing and accepting is very scarce!

I work with people with autism and I have been the sole carer of a person with psychosis (thankfully now recovered), and while I do think the push to be more inclusive to people with neurodivergence is necessary and good I do think people with more...

They worked on a crisis line and have ~1year of experience in a DV housing org where they try to get out of trainings using their neurodivergence.

Constantly being told by my mother i’m “making up reasons because i want to have [insert x issue]” regarding neurodivergence and being essentially screamed that it’s in my head and that i’m neurotypical has done permanent mental damage in trusting people regarding issues

While the graphic novels are fun reads, they also tackle issues like identity, body image, neurodivergence, disability, self-doubt, trauma & loss. They’re love letters to both fans of the Teen Titans and the diverse students I taught during my years as a classroom teacher and reading specialist.

Yhey did get help - it's the assistive AI / LLM bot.

It's really not that difficult to hate on AI without being an ableist who clowns folks for their neurodivergence and disability.

The joys of particular flavors of trauma and neurodivergence, eh? Honestly, knowing where the sensitivity and predisposition to dwell come from, and acknowledging it to myself as just the way my brain works, has made it easier to bear over the years.

Hat tip to therapy!

Extremely ADHD thread about neurodivergence. Top notch
There’s a stat. Something like 30% of people with ADHD have autism.

But 70% of people with autism have ADHD.

Understanding of neurodivergence is poor but with that in mind, I think ADHD is the best understood, to the extent that we can massively attenuate it with neurotransmitter hacks.

Is it my neurodivergence or my optimism that makes me dream about a society that is full of trains?
