Just got done gardening. Right in the middle of a snowstorm. The cool thing about planting native seeds that need cold stratification is that you can plant them in the winter. I did a chaos seeding method where I just threw a mix in various areas and will see what happens later! The continued snowfall will cover the seeds protecting them. Best to do it right before it snows, but we'll get snow into tomorrow. Getting a lot.

As I'm working on a commission last night, trying to blend the colors of each little pixel in the corner, I thought to myself... This is why us artists deserve to get paid. This is why you hire us, because we have technique. Skill. An eye. Things a computer simply cannot do well on its own. We have passion, problem solving, and personality in our style. A computer cannot replicate an artist. It just cannot. It can only pretend. An artist's mind is irreplaceable.

An accommodation I love that my kid gets at school: She gets a bag of fidget "tools", various fidget toys and she picks new ones every once in awhile. She can use them to keep her hands busy, like if she's sitting on the rug w/ other kids. It helps her so much, rather than saying to calm her hands.♡
