Behind on rent and utilities still. Lost my source of income and been reliant on freelance art and music with no luck so far.
Traditional employment isn't feasible due to complex medical conditions. Been trying to sell my old stuff to survive.

Blue jay vs red-bellied woodpecker. I just watched these two square up. They were LOUD. There is NOTHING that can stand in the way of a jay and their peanuts. Blue jay won. Woodpecker flew off. When it tried returning two jays arrived and were like NO.

Planted about 10 diff native seeds. My body aches but was worth putting in work for the ecosystem. Found a cardinal feather too. ❤️ Fall is perfect for planting then using leaf litter as cover (no mowing over leaves or you'll mow over firefly eggs & more).

Our first frost! Why am I excited? Because this is the beginning of gardening many native plants that require cold stratification. Some plants are better planted after frost, before the ground freezes. Also key time to plant that garlic.❄️

I haven't gotten new tattoos since my 2 yr old was born. This is the 1st time she's paying attention to them, it's adorable. When 1st healing she'd say,"Don't touch mama's colors!" Now she asks, "Touch mama's purple colors?" Or green, blue, whatever other color. She gives a light boop & a giggle. 🥰🌈
