A day or so later, I've finally got some AWS Lambda + NET7 + DI/IoC working. Was tricky but got there.
Still testing this in the AWS (Web GUI) console, though :( Need to get this working with LocalStack.
Still finding Azure Functions easier. I wish I could remember if I felt that way originally.

this has mostly hurt me in the context of implementing a range type for random sampling that's generic over the actual numeric type. with `INumber` in net7 that isn't unreasonable! but there's no `CreateRounded`/etc so i've had to jump thru lots of hoops for small integer ranges to behave properly

So, order of operations when I get home.
•Check if the thing lights up or blows up in my face
•Load up OS from the thumb drive and install to ssd
•get .net7, zero tier and terminal version of steam(? And RESTART)
•SAMBA, casa OS, PLEX, piHole (maybe torrent and disc burning stuff)
•GAMES

I got tripped up trying to publish a newly updated AZ function app to Azure this past week. This particular app started life on .NET Core 2.2. I was moving from .NET7 dotnet-isolated to .NET8 and the app would not start, failing with a less than helpful error message:

Is there any example how to write a build script (cake prefered) for a .NET library which is a nuget package & should be available for the different versions, e.g. .NET 4.8 / .net7, .net8...? Which runs on a build server, e.g. appveyor? How is dotnet-install ment to be used in this case? How csproj?
