For all new followers who've randomly found me by way of some starter pack:

- I'm PRIMARILY focused on technology content.
- I may randomly post anime or music related things
- I may shitpost from time to time

But that's about it. Keep those expectations in mind when following me.

Arm is built for builders, everywhere but you don't have to take our word for it.

Come find us in the Festival Pavilion at #GitHubUniverse this week and learn more about how we're supporting our developer community from cloud to edge and beyond. 🦸

What if your AI assistant actually understood your architecture?

The Arm Cloud Migration Assistant Custom Agent, built with @github.com Copilot, automates, optimizes and accelerates migration to Arm-based platforms like Azure Cobalt 100 using Arm’s MCP Server.

When SNAP runs out on Nov. 1st, hundreds of thousands of people in Pittsburgh and across SWPA will struggle to afford food. I compiled (with the help of community members) a non-exhaustive list of where people can find help, including sites in Pittsburgh & outer counties.

Please spread this.
Here's where to get help with food in southwestern Pennsylvania
When SNAP benefits expire because of the federal government shutdown, hundreds of thousands of Western Pennsylvanians will struggle to afford food.

A portion of every dollar spent on Harry Potter merchandise goes to anti-transgender campaigns.

I just shipped explicit transaction support in our MongoDB EF Core Provider.

Check out how to use it and how it differs implicit transactions (supported since 2024) and ambient transactions.

Transactions in the MongoDB EF Core Provider - DamienG
Database transactions ensure that multi-record (or in our case multi-document) operations either all succeed or all fail together.

Those are MY words though 😂. This is one of those times where I'm SORT OF glad about IIS. But at the same time those updates are pushed to all of our servers every month.
Which is exactly what should be done. Just update the gd runtime and be done with it. If you're self-contained, redeploy the gd app and be done with it. If you're using a container that pulls from one of the dotnet images, redeploy the gd container image which should bring in that updated runtime.
