Whelp, no wonder new pokemon games look like shit. The MAIN games are getting the initial cost of a "high budget indie", while actual AAA titles are getting about ten times more.
Gamefreak CAN and WILL do good stuff if you let them, they proved it already.

I bet, since it's the same engine, that people will be able to turn multiplayer off. It's multiplayer, but not necessarily a MMO.
My guess is that there can be, at best, 32 people connected in the same area, and as soon as you leave that area, there are more people to connect with if you leave it on

I really need more critter games where i can just hang out with them and take care of them, and collect them if i want to.
As much as I like pokemon for the critters (and pmd, the actual peak of the series) i ended up liking palworld more just because you CAN hang out with the critters in your bases
