When it comes to erotic stories about my favorite pairing, novels far surpass manga. I want to read ObiKaka works from around the world, but machine translation can’t fully convey the author’s emotional intent. I keep trying, yet I always end up returning to Japanese novels, and that’s my dilemma.

#6: The Ancient Magus' Bride - Midsummer Pilgrimage (2025)

okay but seriously give me the Chise dating game. Make a game where you have the option of kissing any (Philomela) or all (Philomela) of her classmates (Mela) at the college (Mela) while having to manage Elias' emotions-

Open source machine translation models to support access across language barriers where there is a shortage of editors or contributors to support those communities (ex to avoid the situation where a user pretended to speak scots and defaced all of scots wiki)

im currently in the process of editing finicky machine translated subtitles i found on the corners of the internet and it seems at least like the last 26 episodes got better translation in the dub from what i compared and contrasted, they probably used japanese scripts as basis for them

Translation: still no American reporter with balls to be found. It takes an Irishman to confront the Goebbels-Leavitt propaganda machine.

Sorry if you know this, but: there’s an easy auto-translate on Bluesky. On the three dot menu in the bottom right corner you can hit “translate”. It’s machine translation, so there are howlers and weird mistakes, but it’s generally okay and a helpful tool.

i was stuck on basically just saying pretty basic shit to my oshi all the time bc idk how to express myself in japanese that well, and using machine translation is scary bc it's probably not gonna translate over nuance well so.............. if it's in english i might just end up writing whole essays

I have read that this was the result of a test run of an early machine translation programme, English-Russian. Several decades before Google Translate. Another version gives the answer as:

"The vodka is strong but the meat is rotten".

also is very funny that most of those "skills" are just stuff that we already have with other names and WAY more efficient

"Copy the text of this image" you mean a regular OCR model?

"Translate this" so a Machine translation one

"Count all the cats in this photo" that's just image recognition

Machine translation:
Behold, the advantage cuts both ways, it's true,
For it slices the inspired as it may,
As much as it cuts the dull and blue,

Machine translation:
Fortune smiles, for we're graced this day,
A woman of brilliance, in past's rue,
Not plugged into our facile age's sway.

Machine translation:
To Sor Juana, woman of inspired quill,
Whose afflicted verses, deeply weighed and pained,
Crowned with fervent love, timeless contained,
To aged realms they carry, linger still.

Machine translation:
To Sor Juana, who witnessed dawn's advance,
Shadow and light, a single cord […]

@m150mmmm.bsky.social Good day. i hope all is well ^^
i was wondering if something unusual is possible in a fallout 4 mod. i would like to consult with you, and maybe even commission such a mod.

i am sorry if there's a language barrier, but i do not trust machine translation enough on this subject

Ah, right—there’s something I want to say to my friends overseas.
I’m not forcing anyone, but if you’re curious about my posts, feel free to translate them and read them. You can also freely use machine translation on the notes written in my drawings.

see, that's where machine translation misses the nuances of human communications. it actually said "that sounds rad I want to read it!"
January 15, 2026 at 10:06 AM
literally! i think its the same thing as those fake communism countries end up doing fascism and/or national-capitalism cuz in actuality the current usage of genAI only has profits in mind, in stead of support/care, which would be more like LLM for machine translation (as shitty as it tends to be)🫠

こんにちは! ロイテル のすべての話が大好きです。 機械翻訳を使用しています。 私は今、Elinをプレイしていますが、他のゲーム(主にファームゲーム)の投稿もしています。 お会いできて嬉しいです😊

Hi! I love all ロイテル's stories. Using machine translation. I'm playing Elin now, but I'm also keeping a post of other games (mainly farm games). Nice to meet you. 😊

フォローありがとうございます、こちらElin関連ではロイテルへの劣情や冒険者xロイテルばっか語ってますのでそれでも良ければ!!

(Machine translation)팔로우 감사합니다. 여기서는 Elin 관련해서 로이텔에 대한 욕정 이야기나 ‘모험자×로이텔’ 얘기만 잔뜩 하고 있어서, 그래도 괜찮으시다면 환영합니다!!

Histoire was listed as an influence on demon king chronicle which won sylvies coveted 16th best game ever award and her #2 goty for 2025 so not translating it is tantamount to an attack on kitties everywhere
