- Shelley Winters: I know she was considered a bombshell, but the only films I've seen of Winters as a young woman are A Place in the Sun and The Night of the Hunter, so I'm having a hard time picturing her as Billie. That said, I'm intrigued.
- Lynn Redgrave: Great choice!

Bombay Velvet was one of Anurag Kashyap’s biggest films. Till then, the filmmaker had made independent films that had limited star power but earned critical acclaim. In a recent interview, Anurag recalled how the studio’s research team provided a bizarre explanation for the film's lack of connection with the audience.

Hell yesss, Demián Rugna is so good. I think "Terrified" and "When Evil Lurks" are two *profoundly* bad titles, but they're such fantastic films. Both left a real impression on me.

I think The Deer Hunter (1978) and the host of other films that try to recontextualize American imperialism by focusing on the trauma to the enlisted soldiers has really done a number on some people's priorities.

The story always ended at heterosexual kiss-n-make-up: No fondling her nipples, fingers in panties, or fucking.

In the same era, Hollywood was releasing teen films "The blue lagoon", "Fast times at Ridgemont High", "The last american virgin" and "Porky's".

Yes, I still remember Q's frustration because Bond kept destroying his new "toys"! 😁

And Q telling him to treat his inventions better.🤣

I've seen the Bond films countless times, starting on TV, VHS and later in cinema and I loved them all. The campiness of the Moore era was great for us kids. 😁😂
