I am both surprised and not at (3). What catches me is the "better to say we are doomed", because that conflicts with the fear liability. If you knew but did nothing, is that not worse?

3) They seem to think they can just slap a few hoses on the back of the simple cycle installation to turn it into a CCGT which...uh...no. It does not work like that, Silicon Valley brains.

The only possible ways to save ourselves is to put the Dems in power in both houses in '26, then for a Dem. POTUS to win in '28, and appoint 3 additional justices. Add a 10 year term for SCOTUS. Otherwise, without a revolution, we are doomed.
