The fun *I* had was trying to get around CGNAT. I ended up with an SSH tunnel to AWS to listen, then everyone outside the LAN connects to AWS and it comes to me through the SSH pipe. It isn't "great", but it works.

IPv6だとイケるんだろうけど、IPv4置き去りになっちゃうんだよね。

Yes. I keep having issues with mine. Especially getting remote access to it on things like fire sticks since I’m behind a CGNAT. Ironically with Cloudflare it works fine on my iPhone and in a browser. Just can’t get it to work on my brother’s fire stick lol.

Claro, con denuncias y colaboración del ISP la cosa cambia. Pero ya se complica, no es "pago y deja de ser de anónimo", hay una serie de ifs ahí (CGNAT, VPNs, etc) que hacen que por mucho que saques una IP no valga de nada. Y sobretodo, Una IP != Una persona, a eso iba yo.

Tech support got me to try a few other things and then changed the connection type from CGNAT to dynamic IP.
Unsurprised that everything just worked after that..

Tech support got me to try a few other things and then changed the connection type from CGNAT to dynamic IP.

Hey, one more cool thing about my new fiber based ISP, I asked them if they could take me off CGNAT and they said yes and it took effect immediately!

Unfortunately for me, ProtonVPN can’t make up their mind to finally support IPv6 either. This can be useful to avoid the $1+/mo tax on public IPv4 addresses for VPSes, also many home ISPs are increasingly CGNAT only.
