Dialogue from the quest "The Voyage of the Goobbue" from an NPC named Barryn. It reads: When the Calamity struck, it sundered life everywhere─and not only among our races. Look around, and you will see how things have fallen apart. Feet, claws, roots─all have been torn from the earth they were planted on. The dead goobbue was a child of Coerthas. The Calamity shattered its native mountains, and it fled before destruction as a caravan flies before a sandstorm. Years, it wandered. We found it dying and received its memories. It had gathered seeds from every land it passed through, and they flower upon its corpse, a living map of its loss and exile. North to south, mountains to the desert...cloudberry and shooting stars, marybells and cliff roses, Althyk lavender from lower Thanalan, even roselles from Bloodshore. To wander is a dream and a nightmare. Adventurers such as yourself must know it better than I, but I imagine there are days when the flame of adventure gutters, and you feel yourself to be as bereft as those in Lost Hope...and upon us, no flowers grow.

I got to write her in a scene and it's some of the most fun I've had doing this. She's an old Lominsan pirate who was there at the Bloodshore when it got named that and is extremely wanted by Merlwyb's new state. She's been killing her entire life and she's never faced justice and she may never die
Text: The pouch disappeared from the table almost quicker than it had appeared. The old woman's hands ahd flickered and it was gone. Odd little trick, indicated only by a faint arthritic creak. A coin appeared between Saegwynn's fingers. She rolled it across her knuckles and bit it, frowning at the worn edge. Tapped it against the table and it was gone again. 7. Bloodshore [streamed]

Hunger Games x Squid Games in an FMV. Unfortunately doesn’t live up to the premise for me but it’s hard to say why.

Could be the pacing, lack of satisfying conclusion, lack of good scene skipping feature, lack of a strong statement, or all of the above. Had fun moments.

Summary: Stephanivien surprises Kami for once.
Business had been a steady trickle given the local tournament going on along the Bloodshore—of which Rho himself had deigned to grace them with his presence for—which meant it was just Kami on the bar by herself in an uncommon occurrence. If anyone should’ve been in a fishing tourney, she thought that it was a pisspoor design that she was exempt from such. At least she was able to take a look at the winning catches, she relented as she collected glasses. A soft shift of noise caught her ear from the aetheryte and keeping her focus she awaited the no doubt burly sound of another Limsan arriving for their singular purpose. Instead, she was greeted with the creak of the barstool beneath someone’s weight as a customer made themselves comfortable. They would need to wait a moment if they wanted to be serviced. Just because they sat down didn’t make the rest of her duties suddenly obsolete. Waving behind her in a soft flick, she drew it back to gather a few to clean. “I’ll be with you in a moment. Running solo today, so take a look at the menu and I’ll be back soon, aye?” Kami offered with a flick of her tail. “The tuna is the fresh catch if that strikes your fancy.” “Do hurry… I am feeling quite impatient and I cannot say I’m here for tuna.”

she also enjoys spending time in the water, be it lake or ocean! she grew up in outer la noscea with little to do if she didnt occupy herself, so outside of her creative hobbies she'd often go to bronze lake and swim, or as she gets older, take the time to go to bloodshore and play in the waves

It's basically become a running gag for her to randomly run into and hookup with Lkhagvasuren, despite neither knowing the the other's name.

Surf doesn't have the benefit of even being an adventurer, let alone a WoL.

She's just a random Raen that was at Costa del Sol ogling surfers one time.
