honestlyy it was a lot more tell than show than I expected, so I thought it was mildly interesting + charming, but not as much so as TOAFK, even tho the narrator styles aren’t dissimilar. I like to think I have a bit of whimsy, but mb I need more in depth immersion of story.. I liked Beorn the most!

Also to keep it somewhat horny uhhhhhhh Beorn can Get It, big mountain man who only wears a tunic, taller than Gandalf, big and strong and is a werebear essentially, 10/10, would fall for a charm spell with easy, You Know That Ass Smells Crazy, etc :0

Silver Chair does Giants quite well, they have a society and organisation. Beorn is the classic skin changer hairy man one moment bear the next. The Gorignak from Galaxy quest is probably a Golem crossing over to Sci-fi rather than constructs going the other way. Old man willow was overlooked by you

I liked him too. & his wife Goldberry. Plus the old Willow.
I think part of the purpose of those characters was to show how some folk are nature-enmeshed, & to balance & elucidate some of the good-evil themes. I’m always relieved when they make it to both Beorn the Bear & Tom B’s places😌#TheArchers

I don't think there's a parallel for the Great Gold Wyrm which sacrificed itself to keep the Abyss sealed, nor for The Three evil dragons.
High Druid could be Bombadil or Radaghast, but I quite like Beorn.
Prince of Shadows is tricky, as Middle Earth doesn't have ambiguous tricksters.

Beorn from Lord of the Rings was a big inspiration for my Drakkari Uzko.He really had some cool aura moments throughout the movie.
Fun fact : Due to his tense fur and being the only ice troll in the cohort, some members might snuggle him when the cohort travels in frozen lands.

A short-term New Year's resolution is to catch up on all the comics I've Kickstarted or picked up at cons over the last few years. BEORN: THE LITTLEST VIKING SAGA is pretty dang cute. Norse myths by way of Calvin and Hobbes. I really dug the art by Ben Bender. Hopefully, more books from him to come.
