I understand many of you are wondering if this little chaos demon has destroyed the Christmas tree yet. The answer is no, but while the Christmas tree is up, it has yet to be decorated. This will be the true test of his potential yuletide malevolence.

What does the fox say?🦊

Today, we’re showing off our favorite pictures of culpeo foxes we’ve spotted around Cerro Pachón, home of NSF–DOE Rubin Observatory. 📸

💡Fun fact: While these little guys look like foxes (and are called foxes), they’re actually more closely related to wolves and jackals!🔭

We are now further away from the theatrical release of Raiders of the Lost Ark (June 12, 1981) than it was from the year it takes place in (1936). We have reached the Indiana Jones event horizon.

Neil Postman has always been right, and the further we get from his insight, the more correct he becomes. He makes Marshall McLuhan look basic.
