In her life, Marilyn Monroe was exploited and abused by so many men.
Studio executives, so many people.
After she died, men continued to exploit her for their pleasure: trying to get themselves buried near/above her.
What your writer did here is obscene, nonconsensual and makes me feel slightly ill

If anyone needs me I will be in the museum, lying down next to the bog bodies.
Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?
2? Questions
I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

GOOD NEWS! Researchers have developed a cancer vaccine that has shown STUNNING results, PREVENTING up to 88% of MULTIPLE aggressive cancers by harnessing dual-pathway nanoparticles that train the immune system to recognize and destroy tumor cells. In some cases, it COMPLETELY prevented metastasis.

For the record, I won't be requesting special printings of A House Between Sea and Sky (scented like fresh sourdough bread) or Cheddar Luck Next Time (like cheddar, duh), because even though those are nice smells, I generally want print books to smell like books because that scent is awesome.

The end of federal enforcement of special ed laws. Some states - including MN - will likely be ok. But a lot of disabled kids in a lot of states are going to lose the education that federal law and decades of jurisprudence say they are owed.

There are reports that the *entire* office of special education at the US Dept of Education has been cut. These hardworking folks ensure kids with disabilities get equal access to a quality education.

America’s children deserve better than this.

Did you know I wrote a book about the origins of Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, console RPGs, and their rise to success in North America?

Fully understood. I wish the availability was wider, too!

I wish I had a better answer, but unfortunately, they are only available as ebooks through Kindle. I'm sorry!

A low stockpile, cool weather, and a sale inspired the first cheese shipment of the season, from Maytag Dairy in Iowa. They are most famous for their blue, which I’ve already had. I also bought some Frisian Farms cheeses I have been searching for!

I'd ask how that explains autistic girls and women, but you know they'd either say that "only boys can be autistic" or they'd come up with something else equally asinine, like "girls get autism when they take tylenol for their periods" or some shit.
bethcato.bsky.social
Oh good grief.

Besides linking Tylenol in pregnant women to autism, RFK Jr. now says circumcision is part of the reason why kids are autistic.

"Children who are circumcised early have double the rate of autism, and it's highly likely because they're given Tylenol. None of this is positive..."
