We saw a bunch of the Geminid meteors right outside our apt!

I just watched this, laughed, then started thinking about it again as I was getting something out of a cabinet in front of my apt door and started cackling, and I was like "if someone in the hallway hears this, they're going to be absolutely terrified"

Bob Marley-Jesus is pretty nice looking, I choose him. I'm stealing that last dinner one, BTW! Gross but APT!
Choose your fighter.

restructure meant no immediate boss; now new boss. I'm encouraging him to request medical leave. Last year, he got shingles (stress). He's utterly worn out. GP booked for 10 days time (earliest he can get an apt) & will request med cert

X dying brought me back 30 years to when I first started using linux. And then only needing to remove a README file in some random folder was enough to get "apt --fix-broken install" working. Then I was able to upgrade, and upgrade again. Then I removed all sorts of xkb packages and reinstalled.

apt! APT!

Just picked up Look Outside. A survival horror RPG set in an apt building. Been on my Steam wishlist for months. On sale right now for $7 or slightly less if you grab it with Carrion (sick game too).

Relaying words from a review I read: “Earthbound if made by David Cronenberg.”

Astute? A quick google search as to what Shein is, most would find my equation is rather apt. Big promise meets zero follow thru.

I'm too poor to buy much fashion wise, but my leather is Italian, I prefer my electronics to be Japanese or Korean, tools are better from Taiwan, and liberals bore me.

If you have a vet in the system, call the largest VA facility nearest them. Ask to speak to the Veteran Service Officer (VSO). This is an attorney hired by your state. They have an office at every major location but junket, so you’ll need an apt. They represent the veteran (not the VA).

I made photocopies of short two page explainers about ME/CFS. These are handouts that I found at Whitney Dafoe's website. I am trying to get back into a regular schedule with someone to clean my apt, and someone to help me with errands and doctor's appointments.

Hitchens seems apt here

Martha Ackmann discusses her new book on the life of the iconic Dolly Parton

Weekend all things considered December 13, 2025

Wonderful review

The word great is overused but for Ms Parton seems so apt
🙏👏

finally utilized the hot tub and year round heated pool at our apt complex and it was the first time my husband has gone to the pool since his top surgery and i’m just very happy for him <3

i had a dream once that Cena lived in a single-bay auto garage turned into an indistrial apt. mid-range trim worn to broken-blinds affordability. he was unemployed & sad. i was confused to find myself at his place but I said some encouraging words & he he picked right up.

anyway, be nice to him

accepted parents’ invite to flee to the suburbs. of course just devastated. better able to self-regulate out of my 350ft apt that’s close to the lockdown/manhunt

Robert Englund — the actor who portrays Freddy Krueger — once compared the character to a relentlessly angry small dog biting at your ankles.

….I feel that’s an apt description here too.

I really think "you are what you eat" is apt with stuff like this, if you only post negative thoughts and if you only read negative thoughts, it's absolutely going to make you a more negative person in general. then, you'll drag people close to you down

Ah, yes, dressed in black leather, looking like a hag. #SureJan
December 14, 2025 at 3:24 AM
maybe it's more apt to be compared instead to that of a little dung beetle trapped inside a crap – chute of vacuous scraps .

A more apt analogy would be a prestigious director has allowed her high school daughter to direct Hamlet on broadway and the girl has also given herself the lead role.

My mother got a quote of $30,000 from a HVAC specialist in RI for a 1200 sq ft single level house. Which is insane. I've seen some quotes for 1/2 that in my state. A lot of apt buildings who had boilers and covered heating bills. Are putting them in apartments here. The US is so behind on this.

More recently, I quit using Credit Karma for checking bc ID thief asshole attempted $43 Uber Eats purchase late Nov,

& I still don't have replacement debit card (expected delivery date Dec 16, day after I have to move out of the Philly apt). 🤬
