My best experience at #UKGE2025 was playing Crimson Keep: a 1–2 player symmetrical #boardgame with deep strategy. Players build a tableau, summon beasts, and aim to call the dragon for a final epic battle. The prototype already shines! Keep an eye on @Crimson_Keep and their #Kickstarter

First play of #pergolaboardgame yesterday that I picked up from #UKGE2025. It was such a lovely, chill little game. I love that you know where you are and how many turns you have left at a glance. Plus, the little wooden bugs are so cute!

Day 2 at UKGE got off to a late start after Johnny brought a travelling circus back to our room. There was booze, a fez-wearing otter, and a triple TPK in Tomb of Horrors. Hotel management was... less impressed. Read the full misadventure now! #UKGE2025 #OMaHD #RPGChaos
UK Games Expo – An Interlude
Johnny’s midnight antics turned our quiet UKGE stay into a full-blown tavern brawl — minus the tavern and plus a taxidermied otter in a fez. What followed was a spontaneous, wine-fuelled run through Tomb of Horrors that ended in three TPKs and one very stern note from hotel management.

I'm really excited about Red North from @mightyboards.bsky.social, a new edition of Saer, which was published in 2024 by La Mame Games. I had a quick demo at #UKGE2025 and love what I saw. It's a game of hidden information, bidding and bluffing where you fight over outposts. Can't wait! 😃👍

Seeing @czechgamesedition.bsky.social's 10th anniversary edition of Codenames at #UKGE2025 was interesting. It has an insert, a card stand made of RE-Wood®, and new innocent bystanders. They even tweaked the word list to make the game better. Can't wait to try it soon. 😊👍 #boardgames #UKGamesExpo
