If unions start affiliating with the Greens and that starts to look like a long term direction of travel, then it really is game over for the Sultana-Corbyn party at that point (sad imo as you know, though if that tradition of labourism can take hold in an insurgent Greens that's obv a good thing)

Sadly, I doubt we'll see similar. Zac Polanski is decent enough, but I don't see him as the Green's leader by the next election. My hunch is that the Corbyn/Sultana venture comes to nothing and the Greens will then have to deal with a "Momentum" type event that eases Zac Polanski out.

As for the others, they won their seats, so it'd be daft to deselect them. But Faiza didn't manage to beat IDS, so they were free to kick her out, and she was too outspoken about Israel.

Calling for a British born Muslim MP Zarah Sultana to be deported and now calling for disabled people to drive unsafe tricycles to mark them out as disabled- are there no lows this piece of shit won’t stoop to but he’s right on brand for the Nazigraph
This from X is a striking example of what I argue in today’s column. Reform and the Tories are out here gleefully saying disabled people on Motability should be forced to drive a 3-wheeler, like a scarlet letter. The stigma is not an accident - it’s the design.

Polanski wants a version of NATO without Trump or at least without the USA dominating.
He is not saying to totally abandon a military alliance with other nations.

Well that’s what happening? Everybody is giving Ukraine weapons and sanctioning Russia, Sultana espouses the pacifist view that efforts should go to stopping the conflict, minimising death, and that money spent on munitions is better spent on people’s lives

you could argue that the party doesn’t or at least shouldn’t need a high-profile leader, but it would be quite difficult for anyone to take over what was supposed to be the Corbyn-Sultana Party quite so early into its existence
