Après par exemple moi j'utilisais streamFX un plugin avec des milliards de trucs dedans mais quand j'utilisais un filtre dedans ça pompait de ouf c'était pas opti du coup j'ai préféré partir sur le truc + spécifique que j'utilise de ce plugin et trouver un autre plugin équivalent et ça pompe moins.

save those files!!! if you have the JSON scene collections and stuff still, then downloading an old ZIP of the obs version and making it portable will totally let you open it with streamfx

However. When trying to find zhe plugins needed (StreamFX to be precise), I find out it's not only locked behind a Patreon. You also need to join a discord server to get it.

I finally uploaded OBS past 27.0 and a nice retroactive fuck you to the dev making StreamFX a monthly subscription thing. If you wanna charge a 1 time thing, cool, but if you think I'm gonna pay every month to tint sources different colors you can actually suck my dick

I FINALLY MANAGED TO RE-WORK MY MODEL LIGHTING
Since StreamFX got taken down and paywalled, I had to search for some good alternatives and thankfully Obs Shaderfilter works just fine!

I remember it was in the StreamFX package till they start charging for it, just lovely you can find it stand-alone since I use that all the time to add depth.
One I really like its more a filter plug-in than anything is those from lab.horaiken.jp it adds some effects to your sources

Gotta give credit to Virtual Graves, who came up with the original dynamic lighting method, and Phlox Nesspalier for the updated tutorial that let me stop using StreamFX.
I've included some examples from a recent overlay test I did, don't mind the missing model/chat.

sounds like what you need is this plugin, but keep in mind that the more scenes you apply it to and more filters you layer it will become resource-intensive very quickly. note: I haven't personally toyed with it since StreamFX was paywalled, but that was my experience. obsproject.com/forum/resour...

I haven't used StreamFX in years. I respected Xaymar for a long time due to his knowledge of OBS, as well as his contribution to using AMD *at all* being possible, and for years supporting the community with a good plugin.
All of that has now been ruined seeing it become paid, closed source. Shame.

The biggest issue with finding the problem. It just freezes and stops responding. I’ve somehow managed to updated OBS, StreamFX, and StreamElements, but I’m lost on how to pinpoint the problem.

No, I never used the 3d transform in streamFX, but I was interested in it. Problem is I never updated my stream theme, and now I know it was probably ADD increasing my procrastination tenfold and preventing me from making anything.

In 2025 I noticed I hadn't used anything from streamFX in a while AFTER installing an old version compatible with current OBS.
Guess I'm free from trying to use it ever again.

streamfx is officially broken but I can use nvidia sdk blur.. not that it really matters. I used blur to hide chat in FFXIV, will block it with my avatar and a picture probably. KISS as they say.
