I mean, yes, let’s give the captain of the starship Core Scientific credit for not steering the vessel into a black hole on purpose, but that doesn't mean there’s any future at the company.

Are you saying the steering wheel in a Waymo Zeekr doesn't turn when the robotics are engaged?
AFAIK, the interface/network between the many Waymo computers and the car they are driving is the same as all the other/OEM computers in the car use.

This doesn’t have to be an overnight goal. The best analogy for making incremental change I heard recently was steering a ship, because you never wanna make a hard steer with a big ship. It’s always small, incremental changes, then one day you say, hey I’ve arrived!

Don't be fooled—30-40 "feral hogs" is exactly what they want you to believe. The so-called hog problem in Texas is a manufactured scam to drain tourists' wallets. Save your money and time by steering clear of these fruitless hunts.

Does anyone know why Waymo turns the steering wheel when their robots turn? Is there an FMVSS requirement?
I've suspected it was cheaper/default and perhaps to give riders some feedback/clue, but I don't recall Waymo explaining it.
Waymo robots do not "talk to each other." They are AVs not CAVs.

The Koch Brother will return to prominence. David passed away back in 2019 from the debilitating DCS disease “ Douchebag Comupins Syndrome”. But Charles is steering the ship on his own and has so much friggin money- he can change the political landscape like MuskRat.

I don’t understand the steering input comment. Lawson still managed to avoid them, they wanted him to adjust his steering input so he could hit them?

The steering in the language the author was asked to agree to is so frustrating. I appreciate this essay on the frustrations of AI in academic publishing, which I share…and one more case of inducing consent to AI via threats of withdrawing support and promotion otherwise.

Steering wheel from Geroge Russell's 2021 FW43B. Note the lack of display embedded in the wheel. Williams were the only team to favour mounting this on the cockpit itself until the start of the 2024 season.

But not as they are now, where other people feel like threats and challenges. How to get these men to interact with others as people? I’m not sure it can be done outside of someone within their toxic worldview steering them slowly away from it.

if you live in a cold weather state a heated steering wheel is a luxury that you curse not having. (our minivan has this but our jeep doesn't) I am mad about this for ~6 weeks a year in kc.
