#Semester
I knew a quiet, tall, handsome guy who was thoughtful and often alone. The girls in high school were crazy about him but he didn't seem interested. I heard in his first semester he got into a long term relationship with a 40 year old professor. We didn't think much of it except that it was odd.

I have thoughts about how I want o reconfigure my sections next semester clue greater use of copybooks for in class writing and more process-based activities but again this is a luxury I have that many others don’t 4/

I actually have time to meet students on an individual basis regularly throughout the semester which allows for frank and honest discussions in a way more heavily loaded faculty than I just can’t arrange 3/

@psychopoesie My high school PE teacher could probably kill someone with her thighs. She was extremely intimidating.

Year 11 and 12 they actually did interesting things for PE; for the first time in my life, they did something I enjoyed. One semester - abseiling. One semester - archery. Not […]

Goddammit that’s an unhealed wound to my then 17yo Palm Beach County, FL high school student self taking my lone semester of American Government.

I hear you. Same here... I deleted my thread because this is a maximum stress semester and I didn't want his fans finding me. But thanks for the commiseration! LGBTQ folk deserve better.

I meant I paid $2500 a semester

I'm stoked next semester to collab with our Literature & Writing colleagues to pilot a general education writing course that combines humanities and life science discipline-specific student learning outcomes. Let's see how this goes 🤞🏻🤞🏻

maybe there's hope about science that could resume in one's life once this semester is over. I didn't expect a session in philosophy to be so difficult as in 1 of 2 courses r.n. The genetics class was literally easier, and was a whole lot more sciency than an ostensible history of this philosophy

A throwback to 2016 during my semester abroad in Brighton (lived in Hove, actually)

This particular keffiyeh was made in Jordan and I got it at an Islamic thrift shop not too far from Sussex campus.

Really hoping I can find some time this week to get my room organized after being so busy for the last while
I might also set up the little Christmas tree I have early bc I need a lil something to get me through the end of the semester

Only 2 mental breakdowns are allowed per semester. Always save one for the very end 😎

-one picture from a movie because nobody could find any other free graphic.

By the 5th presentation, we all started looking at our professor. And she's like "Every single semester..."

She knows we didn't plagiarize, apparently we all just suck at research.

Currently at work taking a small break, and I do expect this week to be very busy, im near the end of this regular college semester
Once that’s out of the way though I’ll continue doing regular productivity of tennis rounds and such

Semester-wise, there's another course that might help me to find any sense of balance to this experience, in hindsight. I would like to stay focused on the reading just for this course r.n, but these horror stories from history in Germany

There was also a brazing demo, too! I'll be learning that in the 4th semester iirc! Using a flame torch sounds really interesting, but I gotta be careful!

Another book bought to add to my reading list. Maybe should have waited to buy it until after the semester is over. Oh well

CUNY was a very good deal for a long time. It still is…but now it’s $3500 per semester at Hunter College, to pick one of the senior colleges in the system. I did my PhD at the grad center so I taught a lot of students at Baruch, Queens, Lehman

I have been laboring under the incorrect assumption for much of my day that the semester is going into week 14/15 and that Thanksgiving break is far more imminent than it is. Alas, it is week 13/15, and thus I have several more days of toiling before Big Turkey Time™️. Woe!

i am not making it out of this semester alive girl

I loved the 70s. I was in my 20s. Loved disco, the women's movement and gay liberation. Also college cost $100 per semester. And best of all Nixon was impeached and resigned.

I have 3 weeks til the semester ends. For Pres Mgmt, I need to finish working up a digital preservation policy. For Applied Research, it's almost like a final. We have a bunch of questions about variables in scenarios to answer. That one will be harder for me.
