The Virginia & Truckee Railroad locomotives were fixed with a snowplow to clear the tracks, especially up the mountain at Gold Hill and Virginia City. Here is the V&T clearing the track at Virginia City on Jan 14, 1916. UNR Special Collections: tinyurl.com/35jm928f
