I worked in a bar in college. I was a nonsmoker. I used to have to wash my clothes twice before I could wear them again. It was so gross.

You can hold strong! Just for today. You have achieved a great thing by becoming a nonsmoker. You smell better and you are healthier. More people can stand next to you without becoming nauseous. Hold strong! The hardest part is behind you.

Secondly, the rates I pay are based on a pool and not individual factors, and my pool is based on only my county (King), nonsmoker, and age (mid-30s) - and costs me about $990/mo.

Being healthy ain’t cheap :/

Airborne viruses are different from second-habd smoke in that airborne viruses are DANGEROUS. Second-hand smoke is merely annoying. The actual danger from it is almost nonexistent. As a nonsmoker, I glad we've done away with it, but dislike the fact that it was done on the […]

You can get meds but insurance won't pay.
Goodrx .and walgreens has a savings program
They even hv a clinic
Cost varies but sometimes free
A smoker or nonsmoker qualifies
Overweight does too
**If you hv asthma @ a walgreen clinic it is free

Perfect mascot to promote a nonsmoker lifestyle.

... why would someone give a carton of cigarettes to a nonsmoker? Is this some running sort of in-joke?

There's also a perverse incentive in that that they basically serve as a function for free breaks in so many jobs still, which you don't get as a nonsmoker.

Today, its been 13 years since I've had a cigarette. 12/23/12. I had my last cigarette around 2:30 A.M. Yay me!

I don't miss having to come home from a night out at a bar (not that I spend many nights that way anymore) and having to take a shower before bed so my sheets wouldn't stink of smoke. And I'm a nonsmoker.

I was a child in the late 80s and 90s, in a nonsmoker household (my mother stopped smoking when she was pregnant with me and never started again)

I sometimes got some PC components from a colleague of my father's. The colleague smoked. The components always reeked and were dirty yellow

Yup. When my dad passed, they found out that he already had pretty clogged arteries in his early 40s. He exercised every day, was a track coach, ate super healthy not even lunchmeat, nonsmoker. Lifestyle matters, but sometimes you just pull the short straw genetically.

Falling off a ladder, cirrhosis, undetected prostate cancer, stage 4 lung cancer in a lifelong nonsmoker diagnosed about an hour before death, gangrene from hip surgery gone poopy, a stroke button the stroke itself rather the stroke victim being allowed to feed himself in the hospital and choking!

The junk plans, which the Trump admin deregulated, are being pushed onto consumers who don't know that they cover basically nothing.
