Devil Story (French: Il était une fois... le diable, lit. 'Once upon a time... the devil'), is a 1986 French Nazisploitation horror film written and directed by Bernard Launois. It is his seventh and last feature film. An uneven mixture of the slasher and Euro-gothic genres, it was largely condemned by critics for its incoherent script and technical incompetence. It has since gained a cult following because of its reputation as one of the worst films in history. A seemingly deranged murderer in a Schutzstaffel uniform with a disfigured spine and pig-like face terrorises a rural area of Normandy and slaughters whomever he encounters at random—first a couple of campers, then a man asking for directions to the nearest gas station. A couple's car breaks down on the road, and they decide to stay at a nearby hotel until they can repair their car. The hotel is a modified old castle run by an elderly man and woman. The younger couple learn from their hosts that the place is cursed.

Watched SALON KITTY (1976), and it's... something. Filled w/ wild imagery but also pretty dull? Loaded w/ graphic nudity (male and female) but also far from sexy? It's nazisploitation that rarely feels sadistic, which is appreciated, but I think its goal of belittling fascists goes off the rails.

Ilsa, She-Wolf of the SS is kind of one of those really big titles of the mid-70s era exploitation films. In fact, it led to a thing dubbed Nazisploitation, for better or worse, and it rocketed Dyanne Thorne into exploitation royalty. To its credit, it is unabashed in its subject matter.

yes tho I feel like uniform kink connotation is (and maybe this is just the folks I commune with) on the police/mil uni and nazisploitation, even if there are other uniform-based kink tropes (nurse, schoolgirl, nun, priest). but again this is based on most of the uniform kink folks I know so ymmv?

She got the role thanks to one of her counterculture friends getting her in touch with the filmmakers The buzz around Transsexuelle-Report combined with the legalization of pornography in the FRG that same year allowed her to make the jump to hardcore porn, where she quickly developed a reputation both for an insatiable sexual appetite and an incredibly diverse array of fetishes, which, alongside her physical beauty, made her an attractive choice for casting directors Throughout the mid-late 70's, she also received side roles in several Lederhosenfilm productions, many of which have become cult classics and air on late night TV slots throughout Europe First major starring role was in a Nazisploitation movie, Brunhilde, The Bitch of Brandenburg (1977), where she played the titular sexually sadistic commandant.
