I would say "is it accurate to call things like hdg and mechsplo 'genres' when the 'rules' are so hyperspecific that most works are just recursive fanfiction of each other" but omegaverse is also its own genre and that's also very hyperspecific so. The more you know I guess

Everyone tell everyone about Gummy and the Doctor NOW because the amount of folks at the con who knew the show but 1) stopped following us cuz they never left Twitter or 2) just stopped watching the show randomly, gave me a lot of psychic damage and I need help recovering from that LOL

One of the problem with the sentiments of going underground is like, yeah some people might but most people wont. Most of the people you follow online who create the NSFW content you enjoy, be it drawing or writing or photography, are barely getting by as it is if they do it full time.

Maybe I'm taking a while getting more comfortable with making my hornyposting nastier because I used to be mutuals with the kind of people who thought me making an alien species that feeds succubus/incubus style was problematic and/or concerning
