Never expected to see DFW slander on japanese bluesky but I’ll take it
最近バラカンさんのラジオでTex-Mexという言葉がよく出てきます。メキシコ寄りのテキサスのことで、一般的にメキシコ風アメリカ料理のことを言うみたい。ザイデコーという言葉もよく出てきて、隣のルイジアナの黒人音楽でアコーディオンを使うのが特徴みたいです。最近60年代の音源が出てきたらしくよく流れますが、正直よく分からん(^^)。
いまアメリカで一番経済が発展しているのはカリフォルニアなどの西海岸ですが、最近Tex-Mex地域にシフトしていると聞きました。そういう地域の精神風土はこんな感じなのかなとか思ったりします。
テキサスはダラス事件はじめあまりよい印象はないなあ。

ngl I think the chances of Amerimaidan happening are actually shrinking because the rate of melting relative to economic damage done is way higher than I assumed it would be. If a Trump +20 district is competitive now it’s hard to see them have enough public support to even try anything too stupid
