Toying with a hardcover...
The original files were sized to US comic paperback book size but done on a letter sized canvas so I could shrink down for a hardcover sizing and do a newish cover design. This time release through ingram so it can be in bookstores.

I dunno, but I'd like to celebrate.

oh right this December it'll be 10 years since I released Ninety-Nine Righteous Men.

A friend of mine has been working on a forward for me for an anniversary edition so if they do that and my files are all still kosher then... might see a neato re-release 👀

I feel when freedom of expression/art is argued for, many people knee-jerk hear they have to like/accept art they hate or disgusted by

you are allowed to hate and block art you don't like or even find morally reprehensible. you're just not allowed to negatively impact an artist's freedom to make it

things I've done in the past 24 hours:
- reorganize zines
- got a septum piercing
- figure out some character (Nathan) backstory that informs a lot and fills in some gaps after Tiefer skips town and before he returns BUT that backstory will likely stay, well, back

I nixed my nips but have held off on nip tats partly bc I have considered just getting normal tats, bc I don't like how a lotta grafts look, and bc paid out of pocket for surgery and would be paying out of pocket for niptat. I say that to say if your insurance covers niptat, might be worth it

biggest mistake I've ever made? tying my identity and self-worth to my creativity.

"I'm an artist" great cool well now it not only hurts not to do art it hurts to do art so our brain protects us from that by not doing art (which hurts and thus the great circle of pain)

- We need cheaper printed black and white comics for the love of god
- Comics for adults could do crazy numbers if they actually had support, pubs are leaving money on the table
- Prose authors shouldn't be hired to write comics based on prose chops alone
- Cartoonists should be paid 700x more
