Tbh, im not very enthusiastic about Doomsday. Between the MCU’s mediocre output for the past 5 years and all the weird bts changes, its just gonna be another bloated nostalgia bait fest.
when the AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY trailer played there wasn’t a single clap in the entire sold out IMAX theater, just total silence. when the prologue for THE ODYSSEY played, everyone was audibly locked in, and cheered and clapped the second it ended. That’s the movies right there

don’t get me wrong, i haven’t been up the mcu’s ass since they killed natasha and then gave her a mediocre solo film after the fact. but i miss when these movies were fun. so if there’s a chance this will be good, i’m fully hoping for it.

You are 100% right about DC and Marvel still depicting a 70s/80s New York. Heck, look at all the hoops Marvel & Netflix had to jump through to explain why the MCU's Hell's Kitchen isn't in great shape in the DAREDEVIL series, and that was 10 years ago.

Yeah. As someone who hasn't actually seen it, it's not hard at all for me to believe She-Hulk isn't great just looking at the MCU's other output from the last 5 years. But I just know many of the criticisms against it are not being made in good faith.
