My take is that he's an excellent role player who can handle multiple positions & hit lefties well, but he'll be overexposed as a regular. The more playing time he gets the more the bat will look like a liability. His best fit is probably as a 300 PA utility guy who gets most of his starts vs. LHP.

I think nobody was as harmed by the surplus of 1b/DH types as Lowe and Hoskins, but one settled and moved on.
I’m also astounded that LHP Danny Coulombe hasn’t yet found a deal, and to some extent that INF Ramon Urias hasn’t caught on anywhere. Urias is a fine multi-position player.

If they had exclusively (assuming no injuries) batted Bohm 4th against LHP and Marsh 4th against RHP they would have finished around 7/8th. Castellanos and JT took most of the PAs (terrible), Schwarber 37 games (great) and he is the only reason they finished as high as 20th.
