Juayúa is a beautiful lil town tucked in the mountains between Nahuizalco and the village my abuelita was born and raised in. So after she left the earthly plane during the Venus retrograde in 2017, I flew out in April to pay homage and spend time with my familia and friends.

In honor of Venus: 8 years ago was the last time I was in my Mother Land in Central America. Here's a photo of me taken by my friend as we followed the procession of the cross on Viernes Santo in Juayúa... Semana Santa, Día de los difuntos y Navidad are the times of year i love most being out there~

How can we have a proper vote if the scars still linger. Their are people today who lived through the bombing of juayua. Who had their lives ruined by illegal fbi spying. We have to process this trauma before we can properly adress the status.

5 months after my original post I would be invited to El Salvador to work with Murphslife Foundation on their brand new 40 acre property outside Juayua - entirely funded by an internet community through a 501c3. There are now 100 families supported by the property and businesses there.
