p.s. I've tried to find it again, but no luck yet.
A tiny spood on green leaf, looking towards another leaf and wondering if it should jump. You can see it from behind and the conical tapering abdomen. It has rings of varying shade of brown white and black. The head is broader and more spherical and has brown and black marking. Also you can see it's antenna You can see it has hairy legs. Same spider but you can see it's head much better and array of black spots near the eyes Side view of the spood, you can see more details.

Second, for #InternationalJumpingSpiderDay, I still have a beloved mystery on my hands. This spider, of which I've photographed three individuals now on Rota, is an undescribed species (thanks to Prof. Alex Kerr, U. of Guam, for confirming). I am obsessed. So beautiful & bronze! 🕷️🧪🌏 #invertebrates
