#SixOnSaturday this week is surprise lilies, Bolivian sage, tea olive in full bloom Curcuma ginger, Hedychium ginger and a Anole lizard. The ginger are having a last moment here with more to bloom.

My Hedychium coronarium (butterfly ginger) surprised me this morning with a bloom. I didn't even see there was a bud. This is one of my favorite smelling flowers. #bloomscrolling

I would say that Hedychium densiflorum is probably the easiest to grow, but Tara has more spectacular flowers.

De multiples facteurs expliquent la situation dramatique de l'état de conservation de la flore de #LaRéunion. Biosécurité longtemps absente, détection précoce... tardive, faible régénération du fait de la disparition des 🐦disseminateurs, relief escarpé=⬆️coût des actions de lutte contre EEE.
