Existing cryo-EM data processing pipelines often struggle with conformational heterogeneity within particle populations. MR-GNN addresses this limitation by representing particle projections as hierarchical graph structures at multiple resolutions, allowing for the simultaneous modeling of global shape and local conformational changes.
