It is actually horrifying how much status and power law professors can have. and 95% of the time, they come from elite families, and are brought up as "ruling class". they're groomed from birth. they absolutely believe in their superiority over busdrivers or waitresses or even their own assistants.

I’m not religious and I’m praying for all #federalworkers and #publicservants. In my family we have: #FBIagents, #teachers, #firefighters, #policeofficers, #securityguards, #busdrivers, #federalcontractors, #marines, #navalofficers, #armycorpsengineers, #coastguard. They deserve our #appreciation.

absolutely! also call out thanks from the middle/back exit if i get off a bus there. applied this nice aussie custom to other countries when there, saying thank you in language of said country. got some funny looks but hey, lets all thank the busdrivers!

In Northrhine-Westphalia transit is plagued by overcrowded trains, delays and very frequent cancellations. Just not reliable enough to be dependent on it. Similar in Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin...
Since Corona there's a severe lack of tram- and busdrivers. Often leading to reductions in services.

I'm speaking with no knowledge but I wonder if the standard of new busdrivers has dropped recently? There seems to be quite a lot of crashes.

Today's challenge: to get 12yo to speak at her dentist appt.
Mutism strikes, and it isn't selective in her case.
We're working with a psychiatrist on how to get her to speak to strangers when she has to, such as in appts, cashiers, busdrivers.
She's too tall (1,65+) to hide behind me.

Busdrivers now recognize me when they're driving and I either walk by or get in the bus. They greet me on the street and let me drive for free or with a discount a lot.

Outsiders (especially Hunter gangs) are watched carefully the moment they enter Bywater. There are even specific routes that busdrivers follow to ensure safe passage through the area and keep prying eyes away from the streets. If you get off where you aren't supposed to? That driver may (11/?)

I'm going with a wheelchair user, and getting on buses is a whole awkward Thing. Which some busdrivers can get crabby if you're only going a "short" distance.
So the other option is walk/roll, which, it isn't the worst sidewalk? Oh except for where people are getting off from a highway.

Oh and no private methods of transport, unless you live somewhere that makes catching a bus or train impossible, and we should focus on expanding those links worldwide as fast as possible.

ori fun fact: for some reason my busdrivers are always trying to kill me. I think its bc Im the only one in my village of less than 600 people who actually take the bus and they want more free time.

Any #BusDrivers around here? Wondering if y’all actually like it when everyone says ‘thanks’ as they get off or if saying ‘you’re welcome’ or ‘have a good day’ twenty times at a stretch is annoying. I always think I’m being polite, but maybe it’s just adding another task.
