It also probably doesn't help that K1 has both the worst average quality for substories, and the most invasive main game gimmick. If you can't power through the middle bloated section of the game in a few days it's probably just not fun period.

The biggest issue diablo had is not PoR itself.
It's that PoE is free. PoE2 isn't YET but it's already more content every few months. Blizzard are too slow and bloated. They can't move fast enough. Plus.. you know... Allegations. Activision. They are greedy with cosmetics too. Season pass. Urgh.

I do feel like my opinion would be flipped if I was playing the ps2 version because kiwami is just so bloated of an experience it's hard to even think about booting it up again

Maybe all those CEOs saying that AI is an answer to bloated team sizes and ballooning budgets should take a look at No Man's Sky and try to replicate whatever they're doing. Cause I don't particularly like what it has become but that small team has no issue pumping out insane amounts of work.

Imo it’s more compartmentalized bureaucracy. Branches will have internal standards and it’s such a bloated mess that sectors will just never interact with or even be aware of each other. Also little thorough central oversight. The deer’s hr tone seems to imply it’s meant to read as very corporate
