#Bilirubin
UPDATE to my HRT: Pills have been ordered, should have them by the weekend.

But, now there's concern of my Bilirubin levels being a little high, but ive not noticed any side-effects so I'm gonna have to go get tested in a month and see if this is just a fluke or something else related to my liver.

My kids had high bilirubin counts and had to get their heels pricked so many times. It was necessarily but also difficult to watch.

I was hoping McDonald's would have taken care of this a long time ago. Is there somewhere we can send more bilirubin? I'm willing to help.

Just like you, your Comprehensive Metabolic Panel was so unique.
Your most out-of-range result was Bilirubin at 2.4mg/dL.
We’re surprised you’re not Simpsons Yellow!

Happy Wednesday. Apologies for missing some of my daily gposes. I’ve had doctors on the mind. I did get my bloodwork done and everything’s normal. My Bilirubin is barely high, but I can lower that by eating healthier. Still nothing about my dizziness…

I am preparing a lecture on the liver and typing stuff about bilirubin and it reminds me of a medical student (many years ago now) who wrote it on the board as 'Billy Rubin'. One of the best things I've ever seen!

The SEMS placement procedure was successful in all cases, with no complications reported. Postoperatively, the animals showed improved clinical signs and reduced bilirubin levels. 92.3% of the patients survived to discharge and remained complication-free for up to 2 years.

So bloodwork showed one fucked liver enzyme and bilirubin which we'd expect. No I don't know which enzyme I haven't actually seen the bloodwork result.

The ultrasound showed nothing too weird except enlarged and 'bright' liver. Which based on the bloodwork and her jaundice, no surprise.
