Can I just state for the record what a big fucking deal this is. It moves the goalposts (in a positive direction) for what defines norms in diabetics standards of care.

The ADA’s Standards of Care document for 2025 dropped and it includes endorsement of open-source automated insulin systems like the one I use. To say this brought me to happy tears is an understatement. diabetesjournals.org/care/issue/4...

Since re-erecting the greenhouse, have been concerned door how it would weather the wind. Really don’t want it to become airborne. That’s not gonna do anybody any good.
I took some 2” lengths of rebar, welded some flat steel to them ands pounded them into the ground.

Rebar/flat steel stake screwed into pressure treated lumbers

The three are about 6 mos old. We got them from the feed store (after the raccoons decimated those we’d hatched- only remaining of that clutch was a rooster: LoneStar.)
Breed? - they are a hybrid that’s bred to lay eggs.
The other dozen or so are 6-8 weeks behind.

When UH was being considered back during Truman administration, the general consensus was that white voters would rather pay for their own or go without health insurance than to have their tax dollars afford a black person to have the same insurance they do. Didn’t care that 2 ii smaller than 8
