Around 70% of the U.S. economy depends on consumer spending. As wealth concentrates in the richest 10%, the rest of America can’t afford to buy enough to keep the economy running. This is a huge problem — and even America’s most powerful CEOs are starting to sound the alarm.

Trump’s stated justification for every single one of his despicable pardons of multiple drug traffickers, wealthy fraudsters, people who beat up cops, cronies, violent criminals, and politically connected Republicans is always the same: “I heard they were treated very unfairly.”

So, now the question society must answer is: are refugees and immigrants also excused as mentally ill when using guns to kill, or will an entire class of humans continue to be penalized because they are not (and his life certainly gave him every cause to be)?
