And here are the contractors: McCrery Architects; Clark Construction; & engineering firm AECOM. FOIA requests for the contracts submitted by anyone? David?

Maybe I'm reading too much into things (and Idk how long these things take normally) , but "long before" is an interesting choice of words here.

"FWIW, the construction team will be headed by Clark Construction, the engineering team will be led by AECOM, and the demolition is being carried out by ACECO."
The resistance needs a new crusade after No Kings Day. Meanwhile, Trump is destroying the White House.
Hmmm. What to do?

Boycott the White House vandals!
What’s the next step after No Kings? Something more radical, perhaps?

The construction team will be headed by Clark Construction, and the engineering team will be led by AECOM. The project kicked off in September 2025, and is expected to be completed long before the end of President Trump’s term.

The annual TEA / AECOM theme park attendance estimates for 2024 have been published! So of course, I took that as an opportunity to do some data visualization, then write a 3,000 word reflection on 2024's trends. 😎 Check out my thoughts at parklore.com/vault/attendance-2024! #ParkLoreArt

I read somewhere that AECOM is the GC, I’ve worked with them before. They’re not going to do anything that’s not on the up and up and definitely not without plans. The government just isn’t being transparent, shocking

That’s what I stated. I said AECOM is the engineering firm and ACECO is the demolition company.

As ENR previously reported, Trump’s July 31 announcement outlined a $200-million, 90,000-sq-ft addition designed by McCrery Architects and engineered by AECOM, with Clark Construction Group as general contractor.

Don't forget AECOM, who engineered the whole thing... literally. Engineers should know the process for any construction including permits, and they obviously ignored them.

Any words that come out of his mouth are lies. I don't believe the entire project is being footed by his fellow travelers. Companies like AECOM don't work on a handshake basis - let's FOIA the contracts and see who the parties are, for starters.

Don't forget the companies doing the work (who might not get paid based on Trump's record of paying suppliers). The architects McCrerys, who mainly do religious buildings; the engineers AECOM; the construction company Clark; and the demolition company ACECO.

Domino meme starting with Lord North’s elevation to Chancellor of the Exchequer, leading to AECOM destroying the symbolic beating heart of American executive power as an actual mad king tears North American internal trade asunder.

Let's not forget the people and firms that sold their souls to create the damage and design for this new abomination:
Architect: McCrery Architects, Washington, DC
Engineer: AECOM
General Contractor: Clark Construction
How many MAGAts will be invited to Tr***'s ballroom? I'm guessing zero.
