Labyrinth of the Shadow King had my blood pumping. Those devs know what they're doing. Game is incredible.

So pleasantly surprised by Arknights: Endfield - I never expected to enjoy it as much as I do 🥹 and those Devs can be trusted a lot more than Hoyo apparently, so looks like this is my next long-term live service commitment...!

The beauty and detail of Arlathan Forest? My god. Dragon Age The Veilguard, we did not deserve you. The devs of this game deserve more than we fans can ever give.

Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions. I'm in touch with the devs, so it's easy to relay stuff back to them.

Also, just FYI, I'm not making any money on this and I'm posting purely in a volunteer capacity, since this is something I had hoped for for a long time.

Just downloaded and played around in #EmoteLab and AGH! I love it! And I managed to make myself relatively easily in it. I think the devs have done a wonderful job!!

PC Gaming Graphics Cards Are Basically A Rounding Error For Nvidia And It’s Acting Like It

Nvidia is becoming that old friend who refuses to break it off but has clearly moved on. Nioh 3‘s devs don’t believe in adding an easy mode. And I’m not shocked but I am still disappointed that Oblivion Remastered isn’t even getting a game key card for its Switch 2 release. It’s the latest edition of Morning Checkpoint, Kotaku…

I love the PS1 era because you can really see the big shifts that 3D graphics, the decline of arcades, and older demographics brought forth but for some reason "COLLECT THE SHINY THINGS" was the thing that stuck around and only like half of the time devs would give you a real reason to collect them

It turns out if you're a real person who's genuinely excited to play and show off a game most indie game devs are like "oh fuck yeah sure have a key"
February 5, 2026 at 11:11 PM
The discourse should really be "what prompted with all these JRPG devs to make games about slavery all of a sudden".

(First, it was Tales of Arise, then FFXVI and now seemingly XB4)

I don't really do "sponsored" streams

instead I look up all the coolest indie games coming out in a week, message the devs and go "hey can I play your game on stream" and write a sincere message about why I'm interested and excited, and reliably get like 4-5 keys back to try out

I remember Mekton Zeta was due a Gundam expansion that fell through but there’s conversion guides by the devs online somewhere.

You, old, stupid, stuck in the past: Judging your devs performance on lines of code written 👴

Me, young, smart, revolutionary: Judging my devs performance on amount of tokens used 😎
February 5, 2026 at 11:09 PM
oh that sucks! hopefully the devs can implement some precautions ASAP
February 5, 2026 at 11:04 PM
SIGH! While this helpful step. I'm asking the Bluesky GW2 staff to relay this to the devs involved in this mess. If this FAQ was needed to explain things. Why was it not made on release date & link included in the in game mail send to all players? You made complicated mess. Make it less complicated.

The GC layout help emphasized the use case and importance of the buttons, but unfortunately because all the competitors went with a Diamond layout, the GC became the after thought. And honestly there are times where the devs did the best possible job but GC still turned out the most awkward (THPS)

The discussion also pointed out the irony: the 1Password post warning about the malware was slammed by devs for being written by low-quality AI. The whole ecosystem—from the agents to the documentation—is saturated with untrustworthy 'slop.' 🗑️ #ai 3/4

The Games site wasn't exactly well maintained these past 5 years... listing the now de-listed Samurai Jack game as "Coming this summer".

With Pocket Mortys closing in March, all that's left from AS Games is Virtual Rick-ality and the indie games they handed back to the devs.

i loved the couple of moments like this in the sequel so i was soooo excited to see that MOTHER 1 had them too... i love the meta stuff ofc, but i also wondered afterward if this was partly an attempt by Itoi/the devs to encourage the Player to actually take breaks from the game when prompted to

Slender but inspired by all those low effort Thomas model replacement mods is simply too fine of art for amateur devs going "dude let's make fun of Poppy Playtime"
February 5, 2026 at 10:50 PM
I asked one of the devs! He answered:

“I'm not sure on the real release date but it is actually pre-order able on our website right now! Still waiting for the game to be delivered from the factory which will take a number of weeks.”

Website says April 2026 though!

I've looked into how this closure is later called and it could have totally been an async one, or at least return a future, but for some reason it isn't. Should probably be brought up with the egui devs

i've spent like 3 classes learning about the hierarchy of stakeholders as a front-end web developer and there is so many people involved either internally or externally so i'm not mad at the average level tumblr staff or devs themselves but damn do i want this website to actually try
February 5, 2026 at 10:46 PM
Honestly, the problem with MK is that, again the devs don't care. Like... it's depressing to see the lack of creativity in the shallow plots and characters they last gave us. Final Fantasy may have its ups and downs, but as far as I can tell, as someone who's not a fan, they genuinely care about...
